RUSALIT Group of Companies represents one of the major producers of the secondary aluminum in Russia.
The Group’s production company “Vsevolzhsk Plant of Aluminum Alloys” (“VZAS”), Saint Petersburg, is equipped with up to date scrap collection and analytical equipment that allows for the annual output at the level of 40 k tons of alloys. Due to high output volumes, the demand for raw materials is also high.
Top-priority raw materials are aluminum cans, filings, dross, various types of waste of aluminum foil and tape production, wrought alloys scrap. Sophisticated production technologies provide for ability to process the most difficult scrap types that can not be processed by other producers. Being a unique company in terms of technology and equipment used, “Vsevolzhsk Plant of Aluminum Alloys” is the only specialized plant in Russia producing aluminum alloys out of used cans as well as the main consumer of this raw material.
