The 1st in Russia International Conference & Exhibition “Aluminium – 21/ Flat Rolled Products” was successfully held on October 11-13, 2011 in Sokos Palace Bridge Hotel, Saint Petersburg , Russia.The organizer of the forum is Alusil MVT. The conference was sponsored by Vsevolozhsk plant of aluminium alloys (RUSALIT Group of Companies) (Russia) and Hazelett Strip-Casting Corporation (USA). The official partners of the conference were Alcoa (Russia) and The National Union of Grain Producers (Russia). The event was officially supported by the European Aluminium Association, the European Coil Coating Association, the Aluminium Extruders Association, the Association "Outward Facade Systems", the Joint Council for Technical Regulation in Construction and the National Packaging Confederation. The second international Forum "Aluminium-21/Coatings" was successfully held on May 31 - June 2, 2011 in Sokos Palace Bridge Hotel, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The general partner of the conference was Gatchina Powder Coatings Plant "Primatek". The conference was sponsored by Alufinish GmbH & Co. KG and Chemetall GmbH . The Conference Registration was sponsored by GSB International. This Forum was officially supported by Aluminium Extruders Association (AEA) (Russia), ESTAL, QUALICOAT,QUALANOD, GSB International (Germany), All-Russian Association of Corrosion Engineers (VAKOR) (Russia), A.N. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Science (Russia). The 5th International Conference & Exhibition "Aluminium-21/Recycling" was successfully held in Saint-Petersburg on October 12-14, 2010 in "Sokos Hotel Palace Bridge". The Conference was organized by ALUSIL-MVT. The translation from German into Russian of the handbook "Extrusion" was completed in December 2009 under support of AEA. The authors - editors - Dr. Martin Bauser , Prof . Dr .- Ing . Gunter Sauer , Prof . Dr .- Ing . Klaus Siegert did an excellent job, managing to preserve the values of the first edition which is considered as a bible of extrudion today. The book aims to address a broad professional audience specialised in metal forming, primarily in metal extrusion.
2008
For the first time Aluminium Extruders Association participated in the International Exhibition "Aluminium 2008", which was held on September 22-24, 2008 in Messe Essen, Germany. The delegation included representatives of Alunext Company, Inc. Tatprof, LLC Segal. Read more
The Association participated in the International Exhibition METEF 2008, which was held on April 9-12, 2008, Garda Exhibition Centre, Montichiari, Brescia, Italy.
Alusil MVT in cooperation with AEA conducted the International Conferences and Exhibitions "Aluminium Recycling" and "Aluminium in Building and Construction" in 2008.
In 2007 AEA supported the International Conferences and Exhibitions: "Aluminium Casting", "Aluminium Extrusion Tooling" and "Joining of Aluminium Structures".
Two International Conferences and Exhibitions “Aluminium in building and construction” were organized in cooperation with “Alusil MVT” company and successfully held in October, 2004 and October, 2006. Representatives from more than 20 countries of Europe , North America , CIS countries and Russia participated in these Events. And the number of participants exceeded 300 persons.
In order to master the up-to-date world experience in new technologies and equipment on the basis of developing international mutual cooperation a trip to several Italian manufacturers was organized in March, 2005. The aim of this trip was to study the Italian experience in up-to-date technologies and equipment for aluminium profiles extrusion and finishing opportunities (coatings, anodizing, polishing). The program also included a visit to the Annual International building and construction exhibition in Bologne “SAIE DUE-2005”.
In March 2006 the Association participated in the International exhibition METEF 2006 and the Second International Congress on Extrusion in Italy . The work on these forums was widely covered in Russian specialized magazines as well as in the foreign ones.
Members of the Association were invited to the WINDOW EURASIA 2005 Exhibition, which was held in Istanbul on March 24-27, 2005 and visited the plant manufacturing aluminium profiles and constructions by Cuhodaroglu company, specializing in windows, doors and facades manufacturing.
The International Conference and Exhibition “Aluminium in transport” was organized in cooperation with Alusil MVT company and successfully held in April, 2005. The Conference gathered 94 specialists from 67 companies from 12 countries of Europe and North America . The urgency of the Conference was dictated by the growing changes in aluminium application in different branches of transport industry – motor-car industry, rail transport, shipbuilding, traditionally in aviation etc. The participants of the Conference had a new opportunity to expand the real prospect to expand the possibility of aluminium application in this industry.
By the recommendation of advisory committee of the President of the Russian Federation, the Association is represented in the Public Council on Technical regulations (order for Ministry of Energy is signed by Khristenko V.B.), which gives the opportunity to actively participate in this process of business community and allows to represent and defend the interests of Association members on every step of elaboration and adoption of technical regulations, elaborated in accordance with the Federal law №184-FZ dated December 27, 2002 and dealing with manufacturing and application of aluminium semis.
Following the inquiries of the Association members in order to raise the competitive capacity of the extrusion manufacturing they were provided with the consulting services on different questions of technology, equipment, researches etc.
Association has started the voluntary certification of its members. The first honorary certificates, confirming the reliability of their owners in business relations on the market of goods and services are already presented.
