«Alusil MVT» has completed the translation from German into Russian of the handbook "Extrusion", published by Aluminium-Verlag Marketing and Kommunikation GmbH (Germany) in 2001. The authors - editors - Dr. Martin Bauser , Prof . Dr .- Ing . Gunter Sauer , Prof . Dr .- Ing . Klaus Siegert did an excellent job, managing to preserve the values of the first edition which is considered as a bible of extrudion today. A detailed review of inflammation reasons when aluminium heating in dispersed form and impossibility of firing and flame spreading when aluminium is in compact form. heating The comparison of Al and Fe properties is made and it is shown that when designing structures it is required to consider all Al and Fe based alloys properties as contributing to the improvement of fire resistance as well as reducing I, and also to apply methods of structural integrity protection of the structure from fire impact.

The aluminium behavior at heat in the oxygen-containing environment is reviewed. It is shown that oxide film which is formed on the aluminium structure’s surface has protective attribute and prevents alloys (including ones alloyed with Mg) from inflammation under these conditions.
