The leading event of the Secondary Aluminium market in Russia - the 5th International Conference & Exhibition "Aluminium 21/Recycling"- was held in Saint Petersburg, one of the most impressive cities of Russia, on October 12-14, 2010.
The Conference was organized by Alusil-MVT under the support of the Organization of European Aluminium Refiners and Remelters (OEA), the Aluminium Extruders Association (AEA), Industry Support Fund of Saint-Petersburg (Russia), the Council of Secondary Non-Ferrous Metallurgy Industrial Enterprises (Russia), NP "Inter-regional Center of Secondary Non-Ferrous Metallurgy (Russia), the Union of regional associations of collectors and processors of scrap, waste of ferrous and nonferrous metals (The Union"Lom"). The Conference was sponsored by RUSALIT (Russia) and ADM (Ukraine).
In the focus – innovations and energy saving due to more extensive application of recycled aluminium instead of primary metal; aluminium yield increasing at scrap sorting and melting; minimization of power consumption at recycling process, development of downstream processing of secondary aluminium.
