On September 14-16, 2010 the 8th International Exhibition for Aluminium was successfully held in Essen (Germany). Russia's participation in this exhibition also increased. Although this time the participation of Russia was not yet fully in line with the country status - the largest aluminum producer in the world.
For the second time the Association of Extruders aluminum (AEA) of Russia had a joint booth in Essen.
This time the Association prepared an extensive program for the Russian specialists. On September 13, the Russian delegation visited the leading German and Dutch companies: Dijkman Coatings in Handelsweg (Holland), with powder coating of profiles and individual products, the extrusion plant Gerhardi Alutechnik in the German city Luedenscheid, as well as the company Kind & Co in the city of Wiel.
On September 14, AEA conducted a meeting of interested members of the Russian delegation with Mr. Joseph Shoppig, Director (Qualicoat / Qualanod) and Mr. Heitzelmann, President of QUALICOAT, who provided information about Qualicoat certificates.
On September 16, a big delegation of Russian extruders together with GalvanoTechnik Leipzig made a trip to Leipzig, where the company GalvanoTechnik Leipzig presented their equipment and organized a visit to the plant of Hydro Extrusion (Eloxal) in Rackwitz where aluminum profiles are anodized.
The delegation included representatives of Alunext Company, Tatprof, Agrisovgaz, Realit, ROSLA, International Aluminium Company, Iplana, Donetsk Plant of Aluminum profiles.
In addition to the business program the Russian delegates made an evening tour of Düsseldorf with beer tasting and a one-day super-tour "Castles of the Rhine" with a Russian-speaking guide.
